The
Black
Interiorist

Story

I am a Black Interiorist—I research, archive, and curate Black interior spaces. My work is centered on reimagining interiors as sites of affirmation for Black people across the diaspora.

I have developed Interior Race Theory, I'm building the Black Interior Archive, and I founded Making the Body a Home to speak to how design can shape Black belonging.

I currently sit on the board of Open Architecture Collaborative, an organization which helps design spaces for Black and racially marginalized communities.
