I documented this bedroom for the way it holds local craft at its center: a sculptural wooden bedframe, a mosquito net draped softly over the bed, woven circular baskets on the wall, and a woven chair with a wooden base resting in the corner. Together they show a hotel room shaped by West African material culture rather than a generic default.
